University of Miami freshman guard Lonnie Walker IV officially declared for the 2018 NBA Draft Wednesday with the intent to hire an agent.
Sophomore and Miami native Dewan Huell announced via social media that he will declare for June’s NBA Draft but said that he will not sign with an agent as to retain his college eligibility.
University of Miami sophomore guard Bruce Brown Jr. announced Thursday afternoon that he intends to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft.
Unfortunately, the young freshman committed two costly errors within in the final 26 seconds of Miami’s opening round game of the NCAA Tournament that ultimately allowed 11-seed Loyola-Chicago to hit a game-winning shot in the finals seconds and eliminate the 6-seed Hurricanes in a 64-62 thriller Thursday at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
The University of Miami – as well as 67 other teams – learned their seedings in the upcoming NCAA March Madness Tournament Sunday afternoon – with the Hurricanes earning the No. 6 seed in the South bracket.
