11 total Hurricanes received some sort of All-ACC honors Monday – Quarterman on First Team; junior running back Travis Homer, freshman tight end Brevin Jordan, senior safety Jaquan Johnson and redshirt senior defensive tackle Gerald Willis III were all named to the All-ACC Second Team; sophomore cornerback Trajan Bandy was selected to the All-ACC Third Team; and five players earned All-ACC Honorable Mention recognition.
The Hurricanes (1-1) were far and away the superior team compared to the FCS-level Tigers, and they treated the announced crowd of 60,307 fans at Hard Rock Stadium to an 11-touchdown night and their first win of 2018 – snapping a four-game losing streak since the 2017 season.
