The Miami Dolphins announced late Tuesday that they placed their franchise tag on the 25-year-old, three-time NFL Pro Bowl receiver that led the league in receptions (112) this past season.
“The guy” was former UCF and Miami Central quarterback Jeff Godfrey. The 26-year-old went back to his college alma mater to support his school and help his fellow Knights, but maybe ended up helping himself.
The list, which was authored by Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz, went chalk at the top with Ayton and Real Madrid’s Luka Doncic as the top two picks and projected former University of Miami guard Lonnie Walker IV to go No. 12 overall to the Los Angeles Clippers.
