Kickoff Times Set For Three 2018 Canes Football Games

UM fans can start putting together their tailgate plans.

Kickoff times were announced for three Miami Hurricanes football games this coming season – including the 2018 home opener – by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Friday.

After opening the season against LSU in Arlington, Texas, the Canes will come home to take on Savannah State on September 8th at 6 p.m.

The ACC also announced that Miami’s home game against North Carolina (Sept. 27) will kick off at 8 p.m. and its road matchup at Boston College (Oct. 26) will be a 7 p.m. start.

Miami’s first home game of the regular season will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra, while games against the Tar Heels and Eagles will be broadcast on ESPN.

The conference confirmed that every ACC controlled football game will be broadcast on a television or digital network. ACC Network Extra is available on the ESPN app.

In addition to UM’s games, the ACC also announced plans for its conference championship game.

The league’s 14th annual Dr. Pepper Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship Game will be televised in primetime for the 10th consecutive year.

Scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1, in Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium, the Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will kick off at 7:45 p.m. or 8 p.m. on either ESPN or ABC.
